Let me tell you something about myself, I have lived in Lakewood since 1969 when my family was transfered here by the Air Force. I am a 1974 graduate of Lakes High School and attended Central Washington University, in Ellensburg, WA. I enlisted in the Marine Corps in July of 1975 and served for ten years. I worked in the private sector, after leaving the military, for 20 years, both here in Washington and in California. I have worked in the I/T departments of large multi-state banks and a hospital group.
I have been married to my beautiful wife Kat for the past eight years. I have 3 daughters and a step-son and recently became a grandfather for the 1st time.

To this day, Mary remembers the excitement and anticipation of coming back home to the beloved Northwest. Mary and her husband, Carl, were stationed at Ft. Lewis in 1980. It was then that their love for Tacoma and its environs was indelibly imprinted on their hearts. In addition, the Tacoma Opera, the Tacoma Philharmonic, the Northwest Symphonetta, and the Tacoma Symphony were among many performance companies that were dazzling audiences. The revitalization of Tacoma continues with the development of Urban Condos and the remodel of our already beautiful Pantages Theatre. Mary's passion for Tacoma and its surrounding areas has become even stronger upon her return. She appreciates the very special lifestyle this area offers its residents and she has truly found the Puget Sound area to be one of exquisite beauty in so many dimensions.

GIVING BACK
As a result of ther strong connection to the community, she has sought ways to give back.
